Vitamin K deficiency
Symptoms:

Vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin that is separated into two types: K1 and K2. K1 must be obtained through diet. Vitamin K2 is also produced by intestinal bacteria in the colon, but it is insufficiently absorbed by the body and does not meet the overall vitamin K requirement. With the help of bile acid and pancreatic enzymes, vitamin K is absorbed by the cells of the small intestine mucous membrane and released into lymphatic capillaries. The vitamin is subsequently delivered to the liver, where it is packed into specific proteins for continued bloodstream transit. The liver, as well as other tissues such as the brain, heart, bones, and pancreas, contain vitamin K.
